BYOA – Be Your Own Agent
For those people who feel they can handle selling their house themselves, we have BYOA. For $500, Apogee Brokers will get you listed on the MLS and you handle showings and offers from buyers and agents. Think of it as a $500 advertising fee. You schedule showings and then handle the offers when they come in. Apogee Brokers provides you with your own BYOA kit with a yardsign and the paperwork and guide to be your own agent. When you reach an agreement to sell, you return the offer sheet we provide you back to us and we take it from there and then get it to Meridian Title who will get you to the finish line.
BYOA but you have a dedicated agent that you can talk to for advice on offers, showings, open-houses, etc. Your agent will assist you in your efforts to sell your house. Have a pow-wow with your agent to decide how you will respond to offers and get your counter back to the Buyer’s Agent. You pay nothing for this service up front but Apogee Brokers will charge a 1% commission upon successful sale of your property. This is an excellent option that will save you 2% commission vs other conventional brokers. That’s $4,000 on a $200,000 house!
